Mediator
A request for a mediator
12 pieces of wood cut off into rods
One piece dead wood for each tribe
But one day 1 person cut off
Hung on a piece of deadwood
Yahweh proclaims
that which will live is the mediator I choose
Brought to life
The one staff budded
The other rose from the dead
Proclaimed forth by his disciples
Our Redeemer and Mediator lives
The one only for the nation of Israel
the other mediator for the whole world.
